Important Information for Poster Presentations

Please prepare your poster in DIN A0 size portrait format (approx. 100 cm  x 140 cm).

When preparing the poster, presenters should have in mind the objective of capturing the interest of attendees to the work that is being presented. The quality of the presentation stimulates the attention from the audience and improves the overall satisfaction of the community attending the conference. Use an appropriate font size allowing posters to be readable by delegates 1.5 m away.

The poster message should be clear and understandable without oral explanation. Further, we would like to call the attention of poster presenters to the following items:

Each poster board is marked with a poster ID-number. Please find your poster ID-number in the final Program (printed or PDF version).
Authors are requested to use only the boards provided for their poster.

Posters can be put on the board starting by Wednesday, April 23, 09:00 h and latest by 15:00 h of the day of the poster presentation. All Posters should be fixed to the poster board using pins which will be provided on site at the registration desk.

Authors are required to stand by their posters during the whole poster session on Wednesday, April 24 (18:00- 21:00), and to remove their posters from the boards after the lunch break on Friday, April 26, at the latest. Posters left on the boards after that will not be returned to the authors.

Publication Ethics

The European Conference on Synthetic Aperture Radar (EUSAR) is committed to upholding the highest publication ethics standards through a rigorous single-blind peer-review process together with strict ethical policy standards. Any infringements of professional ethical codes, such as plagiarism, fraudulent use of data, is taken very seriously by all our reviewers with no tolerance.

The submitted manuscript should be original, has not been formally published elsewhere and is not under consideration by any other journal or conference; and does not infringe any existing copyright or any other third party rights.

EUSAR follows the Code of Conduct of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE), and follows the COPE Flowcharts for Resolving Cases of Suspected Misconduct.

EUSAR Review Process Rules

The European Conference on Synthetic Aperture Radar (EUSAR) will review all submitted draft papers in a single-blind review process conducted by the Technical Program Committee (TPC) members or reviewers delegated by them.
At least three reviewers are assigned to each paper. Among others, we check originality, technical content, clarity and quality of writing. For reasons of fairness no more than two papers per first author are allowed and all papers are limited to 6 pages, A4 format.
To be included in the proceedings at least one author must register for the conference. Draft papers may be upgraded to final papers after the review process with only moderate changes. We finally check all papers before publication in order to secure that the original paper statement has not changed significantly and the paper meets all EUSAR format requirements.
We reserve the right to exclude papers from publication if papers differ dramatically from what has been reviewed, papers do not fulfill the format requirements or no paper author has been registered for the conference.
