HENSOLDT is a trusted partner of DLR, ESA and NASA and has close to 60 years of experience in space missions, with its heritage going back to the moon landing and Apollo 11. Space related activities range from providing airborne acquisitions for satellite future mission to design and implementation of complete end to end SAR payload processor up to space graded payload manufacturing. Praticularly, MetaSensing has developed all the key elements for advanced and high performance fully polarimetric phased array SAR payloads. The StarSAR-X is an example of MetaSensing space graded SAR payloads, featuring less than 0.15 meter slant range resolution, fully polarimetric imaging, and complete electronic beamsteering in azimuth and elevation, it is a scalable product which can be taylored to high perfomance requirement or to low weight and low power needs.

In addition, VDE Bavaria is a contact point for Bavarian state politics. Around 4,000 individual members and over 200 member companies are represented by VDE Bavaria. With approximately 200 events annually, involving over 6,000 participants, VDE in Bavaria provides an important information platform for interdisciplinary knowledge exchange and transfer for universities, industry, crafts, authorities, associations, and politics.
